Tha Duke LIVE show

Tha Duke is a rapper/producer, hailing from Northern Ireland. In 1999 a friend gave him a copy of Eric B & Rakim Paid in Full. Duke was blown away by the lyrics and flow of Rakim and quickly, at the age of 14, put pen to paper and started writing his own lyrics. His musical inspiration continued from Rakim by listening to Nas, The Roots and A Tribe Called Quest.

After this the dream could only become more achievable for Duke, gaining shows such as support acts for Rihanna, Chris Brown, N-Dubz and many more. In 2008 and 2009 he was awarded the title of Homegrown Artist of the Year from Cool FM show The Urban Takeover. This increased Tha Duke's confidence and enabled him to continue following his dream.
